Challenge
Field engineers often need to visit specific telecom sites using coordinates from spreadsheets or location files, but switching between tools to find and navigate to each site wastes time. Your challenge is to design an Android app that imports site lists and gets engineers there with a single tap.

- How can mobile applications simplify navigation to telecom sites for field engineers?
- You will build an Android app that imports site data and connects it directly to live GPS navigation.
Activities & expected output
- Analyze the field workflow of telecom engineers and identify the main navigation requirements
- Research Android technologies related to GPS/location services and Google Maps integration
- Build a module for importing site data from XLSX, CSV, or KML files
- Build a search/selection feature for choosing a site (site ID) from the imported list
- Connect the selected site to live Google Maps navigation from the user’s current location
- Implement basic error handling for unavailable GPS signal or invalid imported data
- Test the app using sample data and realistic field scenarios
- Prepare technical documentation and present the final solution
