More SMEs want to learn Lean and AI, but the offers are all over the place. This project helps uncover what companies actually need to learn and what’s still missing.
Challenge
The market for Lean training and AI courses is growing fast, but the offering is fragmented: Lean programmes focus on certification for individual professionals, AI training often stops at prompting tips, and the combination of both is almost impossible to find.
Your challenge: map the current landscape, identify the gaps, and research what SMEs are actually looking for — so Fit-Design can develop an e-learning product that fills that exact gap.
Core question & where you will work on
• Which e-learning programmes on Lean and AI already exist for SMEs, what’s missing, and what are SMEs willing to invest in digital training?
• You will combine desk research (existing offerings, pricing, formats) with primary research (interviews or surveys with SME owners) to deliver a well-founded market overview.
Activities & expected output
• Map the existing landscape: Lean e-learnings, AI training programmes, and combined offerings — in Belgium, the Netherlands and internationally
• Analyse pricing models, formats (self-paced, cohort-based, blended), target audiences and certifications
• Conduct at least 3–5 short interviews with SME owners or managers about their training needs regarding Lean and AI
• Deliver a market report with a gap analysis, target audience insights and concrete recommendations for an e-learning product
