E³UDRES² – A European Alliance for Smart and Sustainable Regions

E³UDRES² is a dynamic European University Alliance that brings together nine higher education institutions with a shared mission: to integrate education, research, and innovation in a way that directly impacts society. By fostering collaboration across borders, E³UDRES² works to develop smart and sustainable solutions that strengthen European regions and prepare students for the challenges of the future.

At the heart of this alliance are St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (Austria), Fulda University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (Portugal), Jamk University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Hungary), Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), UCLL University of Applied Sciences (Belgium), Politehnica University of Timișoara (Romania), and Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia).

Through innovative programs and challenge-based learning, E³UDRES² transforms the way knowledge is applied in real-world contexts. One of its flagship initiatives is the E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators Science Policy Conference, set to take place in May 2025 in Portugal. This event will explore the intersection of science, policy, and innovation, creating opportunities for dialogue between academia and industry leaders.

Beyond conferences, E³UDRES² actively builds bridges between education and regional development. The International Stakeholders Forum 2025 will bring together key players from across Europe, encouraging new partnerships and inspiring fresh approaches to entrepreneurship, innovation, and regional growth. Meanwhile, the I Living Labs offer a hands-on platform for students and professionals to co-create solutions for real-world challenges, making a direct impact on their communities.
